Welcome to Unwind Game Studios. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a transparent
and secure gaming experience. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information
about you when you use our mobile applications ("Games") and our website.
1. Information We Collect
We believe in data minimization and only collect what is strictly necessary to run our games effectively.
- Automatically Collected Technical Data: When you play our Games, we may
automatically collect standard diagnostic data such as device type, operating system version,
anonymous installation identifiers, and crash logs.
- Gameplay Data: We store your local game progress (such as scores, settings, and
cosmetics) directly on your device. Your game is fully playable offline, and this data stays on
your device unless you opt in to the online features described in Section 2.
- In-App Purchases (IAP): If you purchase premium content or virtual goods via the
App Store or Google Play, the transaction is processed securely by Apple or Google. We do not
collect or store your payment card details.
2. Online Features & Data Uploaded to Our Servers
Our Games offer optional online features — including a global leaderboard, weekly competitions, and
social play. These features require us to upload certain personal data to our servers (hosted on
Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore), and we ask for your explicit consent in-app before any such upload
takes place. If you decline, you can keep playing fully offline and nothing is sent to our
servers. You can change your mind later in the app.
When you consent to the online/leaderboard features, we may upload and store:
- Profile & Leaderboard Data: Your chosen nickname, your country/region (derived
from your device locale), your scores, tier, and any cosmetics you have equipped. This information
is shown publicly on global and weekly leaderboards to other players.
- Anti-Cheat / Replay Data: A record of your gameplay session may be uploaded so we
can validate scores submitted to the leaderboard and keep the competition fair.
- Social Linking (Game Center / Google Play Games): If you connect a platform account,
we store your platform player ID and link status so you can find and compete with friends.
- Push Notifications: If you enable notifications, we store your device's push
notification token (along with locale and time-zone offset) so we can send you game updates and
reminders. You can disable this anytime in your device settings.
- Anonymous Account Identifier: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to associate
your data with a randomly generated identifier. We do not require an email, name, or password.
3. Third-Party Services & Advertising
To support the development of our free-to-play games, we may use trusted third-party services that
collect data independently in accordance with their own privacy policies.
- Advertising (E.g., Google AdMob): We may display advertisements in our Games.
Advertising partners may collect device identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on
Android) and usage data to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in
your device settings.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to collect
aggregated, anonymized metrics that help us understand game performance, balance difficulty, and fix
crashes.
4. Children's Privacy
Our Games are designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please
contact us immediately so we can delete it.
5. Your Rights & Data Deletion
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR in Europe, CCPA in California), you may have the right to
request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. If you have used the online
features, you can delete your leaderboard profile and all associated server-side data directly in the
app via Settings → Delete Account, or request deletion at
our account deletion page. You can also contact us at the address
below. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new
Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
