Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Unwind Game Studios ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of our mobile applications ("Games") and this website. By downloading, installing, or playing any of our Games, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Games.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play our Games on a device you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. We keep all other rights: the Games, their code, artwork, audio, level content, word lists, and branding remain our property or that of our licensors.

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify a Game; circumvent or tamper with scoring, progression, or purchase mechanisms; use bots, automation, or modified clients; resell or redistribute a Game or any part of it; or use a Game to break the law.

2. Purchases, Virtual Items & Refunds

Our Games are free to download and may offer optional in-app purchases. All payments are processed by Apple or Google, not by us — we never see or store your payment card details.

• Virtual items have no real-world value. Coins, boosters, hints, cosmetics, and similar in-game items are a licence to use a feature inside the Game. They cannot be redeemed for money, transferred between accounts, or sold, and they carry no monetary value outside the Game.
• Purchases are final. Once delivered, an in-app purchase is generally non-refundable except where refunds are required by law. Refund requests are handled by the store you bought from: Apple or Google Play. Consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country are not affected by this paragraph.
• Subscriptions. Where a Game offers a subscription, it renews automatically for the stated period until you cancel. Cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and does not refund the current period. The price, period, and what the subscription unlocks are shown in the Game before you buy.
• We may change the catalogue. Prices, item contents, and offers can change, and an item can be withdrawn from sale. We will not remove an item you have already bought and paid for.

3. Your Game Data

Your progress is stored on your device and, if you use the optional online features, on our servers. What we collect and why is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We do not guarantee that game data can always be recovered. Uninstalling a Game, resetting a device, or deleting your account can permanently remove progress and any unused virtual items, and we are not obliged to restore them.

4. Online Features & Conduct

Some Games offer leaderboards, events, and social features. Where you can enter a nickname or other text that other players see, you must not submit anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or impersonating another person or brand. We may remove such content and suspend the account behind it.

We may invalidate scores, reset progress, or block access where we detect cheating, exploitation of a bug, or manipulation of a leaderboard. Online features depend on third-party infrastructure and may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued.

5. Advertising

Our free Games are supported by advertising. Rewarded ads are always started by you, and watching one is optional. Advertising partners handle the ads they serve under their own privacy policies — see Section 3 of our Privacy Policy.

6. Children

Our Games are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. If you are a minor in your country, use the Games only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for any purchases made on the device.

7. Termination

You may stop using a Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms — for example by cheating, abusing other players, or attempting to defraud a store. Where the breach is minor and fixable, we will normally warn you first.

8. Disclaimers

The Games are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that a Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost progress, or lost virtual items. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us (or through a store for our Games) in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory rights given to you by the law of your country of residence.

10. App Store Additional Terms

The following applies where you obtained a Game from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and Unwind Game Studios only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Game or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the Game.
• If the Game fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the Game to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Game.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim relating to the Game, including product liability claims, any claim that the Game fails to conform to a legal requirement, and claims arising under consumer-protection or similar legislation.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the Game infringes that party's intellectual-property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Where you obtained a Game from Google Play, Google is likewise not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Game.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our Games change or the law requires. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last Updated" date. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
